*This plug-in allows you to generate 3D models from photographs shot with a standard digital camera. These objects include the 3D model data as well as the photo-based surface textures.
Transfer photos directly to Strata Foto[in] and return a real-time 3D object to a 3D layer in Photoshop CS3 Extended.
The process couldn`t be simpler. Take a handful of photos on a special marked mat, load the photos into Photoshop, mask out the backgrounds using familiar Photoshop tools, and initialize the Strata Foto 3D[in] plug-in. Foto 3D[in] will generate the mesh and texture, and then allow you to review the model and send it back to photoshop. Learning how to use your camera is more complicated than turning those photos into real 3D models.

This plug-in includes three powerful tools: Match[in], Model[in] and Render[in] synchronized to Strata`s award winning Strata 3D CX application engine.
Match[in] generates a matching camera view and a 3D grid that coincides with the vanishing point data. This allows you to match the perspective in a Photoshop document and place 3D objects into the scene.
Model[in] allows you to model new objects or modify existing objects and create new objects with tools such as extrude, lathe, and subdivision surface modeling. You can even import Adobe Illustrator software outlines to loft into 3D objects.
Render[in] allows you to take the real-time, OpenGL 3D model you have positioned in Photoshop and render it using a full raydiosity renderer, with relflections, refractions, soft shadows, HDRI lighting, volumetric effects and more. The jargon may be confusing, but the photorealistic results aren`t.


Use Photoshop CS3 Extended to Design 3D PDFs and Web Pages
With Live 3D[in] you are able to create real-time interactive 3D content for web sites and PDF documents from Photoshop® CS3 Extended
Saving a PDF or web page from Photoshop with live 3D content couldn`t be simpler. Once you have your 3D content loaded into Photoshop CS3 Extended, either from Strata Design 3D[in], Strata Live 3D[in] or third party plug-ins like Google`s 3D Warehouse, simply select Strata Live 3D[in] Web or PDF from the filters menu. You`re asked to select what style of navigation bar to use, and then you choose where to save the document. If we made it easier, it would be missing something.
